ALBUM: EVOLUTION featuring SOLARIA

Solaria is a midi based vocal plug-in from Dreamstronic|Synthesizer V. The company records real singers to create databases and then with the plug-in, I can play the notes into the computer via midi and then add words and phrasing to each midi note, creating a vocal performance from scratch and from software. This process isn’t A.I. But, creating a character and animating it to sing is done with some work with A.I.  AI is both a blessing and a curse—often in the same breath. But like it or not, it’s here to stay. What excites me most is how it opens doors for creatives, allowing people to make things they might’ve only dreamed about before. Here’s one of my early attempts at bringing a singing character to life all based on a photo I created. Experimenting, and the results are wild.
